The exhibition at the Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology showcased historical and contemporary works by artists whose work promotes the discussion on topics that expand or narrow the relationship between art and architecture.
Hacer amar plantar árboles. Colección Valzuela.
Centro de Arte Alcobendas showed part of the Colección Valzuela, by María Pilar Cerezuela and Enrique Vallés. The exhibition aimed to transfer an extract of their daily environment and peaceful coexistence between periods and disciplines through a montage of that very personal narrative of what a collection can be.
Múltiples mundos
Art gallery CarrerasMugica hosted an exhibition at La Nave with a selection of artists from Galeria Elba Benitez. It approached contemporary art from the idea of multiplicity, aiming for a narrative to emerge on its own accord. Bunga exhibited several of his Models – sculptures made out of cardboard and paint.
Postmonument
De-monumentalisation was the theme, referring to the sculpture being freed from any celebratory, encomiastic function, and rethinking how it could be possible to once again identify ourselves with monuments.
