Cristina Guerra Contemporary Art +info

An exhibition that outlined recent developments in contemporary sculpture and probed the question of what it even means to be “sculptural”. The title is a reference to Marcel Broodthaers’s Museum of Modern Art, Department of Eagles (1968–72), and in the same spirit, the ambition was to create an imaginary museum. The works were displayed like relics of a bygone time in a cultural history museum.

Bunga presented a painting made out of cardboard and yellow home paint. These materials can be seen in his architectural spaces and site-specifics.
