Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Vigo + info

Part of the series of exhibitions Puntos de encuentro, in which 5 artists presented works made specifically for the museum’s Espazo Anexo, tackling the concept of the contemporary city as a heterogeneous space.

Bunga approached the recent history of the city of Vigo, its architecture and urbanism, its changes and transformations. The project was developed through a research process, with field work, visits to libraries/newspaper archives, taking photographs/videos, and meetings with citizens. All artworks showcased were made from the materials obtained in the research phase, resulting in a series of drawings, photographs, collages, a video and a sound file.
