This exhibition traced performative dimensions in contemporary abstract art, specific connections to the history of modernism, and new perspectives on the contextualization and reinvention of abstraction.

Bunga presented one of his site-specific constructions in relation to the gallery’s space and creating a new one for the audience to walk through. Through these kinds of interventions, the artist moves abstraction into space, architecture, and puts it in relationship to the body; and also explores it while exploring processes, materiality, and temporality.
