Where I Am Free

Fundação Carmona e Costa +info

This was the first exhibition exclusively dedicated to the role of drawing in Carlos Bunga’s oeuvre. It was the result of a collaboration between the Fundação Carmona e Costa and MAAT – Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology, which simultaneously showed the artist’s first large survey show in Portugal. It brought together a selection of drawings, sketches and notes — some of which had been stored in the artist’s archive for more than a decade and had never been exhibited — and recent works specially produced for the Fundação Carmona e Costa.
