At Mataró Art Contemporani, Bunga presented a site-specific architectural installation and several works in other mediums.

Artist Carlos Bunga was invited by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation’s CAM in Motion program to conceive a site-specific project for a shipping container.

Carlos Bunga presented his first solo show in a gallery in Portugal, at Galeria Vera Cortês. Photographs, videos, paintings, sculptures and drawings filled the space, halfway between his home and his studio.

Carlos Bunga presents his solo exhibition Terra Ferma at Glynn Vivian Art Gallery. It brings together approximately 70 works dating from 2008 to the present, including large scale immersive installations, paintings, sculptures, videos and drawings.

For his first exhibition in Canada, A Sudden Beginning, Carlos Bunga was invited to produce two major site-specific works for the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Toronto.
