Low Key

The show brought together artists who share the same sensitivity for presenting proposals for what can be considered an incipient trend in the practice of contemporary art, derived from an economy of means, where manual production, the use of poor materials, emphasis on the small, the homely and the humble, express sensations of vulnerability and transience motivated by the phenomena of uncertainty that plague today's society. The word “low key” is thus applied to formal aspects derived from simple and cheap resources (cheap materials, insignificant forms, modest budgets...).
Bunga presented two sculptures made out of cardboard, home paint and tape – recurring materials in his work.
